Work is finally picking up again on book two in the series,
“Pig’s New Blanket”.
There are many stages you have to go through when producing and publishing a book. Getting that initial ideal out of your head and down on paper is sometimes the easy bit!
Before you can publish a book, you first need to create it.
Book Creation process:
- Drafting the storyline
- Sketches & planning of illustrations
- Drawing of the scenes
- Colour, Proportions, story flow
- Illustration outlines
- Watercolouring
- Creating the prototype design
My plan is to take you through each step of the process using Instagram/Facebook.
By following me on Instagram, you will see my posts with progress information, including timelapses of the actual illustrations that will be used in the published book.
