I just read Pig’s New Bed to my 18 month old grandson. He was so enthralled I had to read it three times!

My son loved the story and I loved introducing concepts such as big, bigger, etc. The book is also a perfect length for bed time.

I am Romy and I am going to turn 3 very soon. I can’t write yet but my papa can, so here is my review:

I like it so much when piggy is growing and growing and growing. Each time I think she is going to explode. Papa always add a lot of drama in that story (I think he likes it too). We read it 3 or 4 times in a row. I like my bed too, and want her to have a nice comfy bed like me. We can’t wait to hear more. Thank you Piggy!

From the first page to the last, this beautiful book had my son completely captivated and he asked for it to be read again and again and AGAIN! The charming little story is a joy to read and all the well thought out details like Erick the snail hiding in the pages and the running pig page numbers just bring all the more delight to everyone who reads it. The gorgeous illustrations bring such a warmth and hand-made feel to each page and I even found myself feeling nostalgic for the littleness of my boys as I read about how tiny pig would grow and grow and GROW! This book is going to be a favourite in our household for many years to come.

I have been waiting for this book to be published for nearly 20 years!!! It’s a lovely story and I think I found Erick the Snail hiding in more than ten places! Can’t wait to see the whole series. These will delight so many children for years to come.
