Work is finally picking up again on book two in the series,

“Pig’s New Blanket”.

There are many stages you have to go through when producing and publishing a book. Getting that initial ideal out of your head and down on paper is sometimes the easy bit!

Before you can publish a book, you first need to create it.

Book Creation process:

  1. Drafting the storyline
  2. Sketches & planning of illustrations
  3. Drawing of the scenes
  4. Colour, Proportions, story flow
  5. Illustration outlines
  6. Watercolouring
  7. Creating the prototype design

My plan is to take you through each step of the process using Instagram/Facebook.

By following me on Instagram, you will see my posts with progress information, including timelapses of the actual illustrations that will be used in the published book.
